Our Signature Brands - Temasek Gold & Malika

Creating Our Own Brand Identity

Malika

Recognising the need to stand out in a crowded marketplace, Mr. Singh launched Dashmesh’s own house brands in 2006:

  • Temasek Gold — Premium aged basmati rice, known for its aroma, texture, and long-grain quality.

  • Malika — A comprehensive range of Indian groceries including lentils, spices, dry fruits, nuts, and more.

These products were developed to offer customers high quality at affordable prices — reinforcing Dashmesh’s commitment to value and trust. Today, Temasek Gold is available in NTUC FairPrice and leading e-commerce platforms like RedMart and Amazon.

A Global Supply Chain, A Local Promise

Mr. Singh’s search for quality suppliers took him beyond India — to Vietnam, the USA, and other international markets — forming the multi-national supply chain that Dashmesh relies on today. This extensive network ensures freshness, reliability, and variety in our Indian groceries, tailored to the needs of families, restaurants, retailers, and the maritime industry in Singapore.

The company has also weathered major global challenges, including the 2003 SARS outbreak and the COVID-19 pandemic. Through it all, Dashmesh remained resilient – a testament to Mr. Singh’s leadership and the team’s dedication.

Where We Stand Today

What started as a one-man delivery service is now a full-scale operation with:

  • 60 employees

  • A fleet of 17 delivery vehicles

  • Over 1,000 SKUs

  • Serving diverse clients across retail, F&B, hospitality, temples, maritime supply, and exports

Despite this growth, our values have not changed. Dashmesh remains committed to offering South Asian non-perishable food products and Indian groceries at affordable prices – without compromising on quality.

Still Rooted in Service

From that first delivery in 1985 to our nationwide reach today, we’ve stayed true to the promise Mr. Singh made:

To serve with sincerity, deliver with consistency, and treat every customer like family.

That is – and always will be – the story of Dashmesh.
